Mark Wells Associate Pastor
Big visions and flourishing communities need a stable base and a strong organisational spine, and Mark’s role focuses on building and maintaining that structure so RCC can continue to grow. He is also involved in leadership development and helping coordinate the teaching programme. Mark is married to Denise who works in the agricultural sector, and they have one daughter, Daisy. Mark enjoys running, commuting on his bike and painting toy soldiers.
Christy Parry-Jennings Children & Life Groups Pastor
Christy is passionate about discipleship and developing leaders who can positively influence others. She has many years of experience directing the Children’s ministry and overseeing teams of leaders. Christy is married to Jonny and they have a son. When she is not working, Christy enjoys coffee dates, walking and running, and spending time with family and friends.
Matt Meek Youth Pastor
A passion for youth and a desire to make a difference led Matt into Youth ministry 13 years ago. His role at RCC is responsible for the Intermediate, Youth and Young Adult ministries, overseeing all pursuits and supporting over 40 exceptional volunteer leaders across those ministry areas. Nothing excites him more than seeing young people meet Jesus and step into their full potential. Matt has two young sons and he loves most sports, but particularly cricket, football, volleyball and basketball.
Auriole Cattermole Church Administrator
With a diverse set of skills and experience, Auriole is the administrator extraordinaire who makes things happen at RCC! She has been a part of the team since 2002, and is involved with connecting people, Alpha courses, event planning (including Sunday services), finances, and media management. Auriole and her husband Wal have two adult children and three grandchildren.
Nicky Ewing Pastoral Care Co-ordinator
Nicky oversees and co-ordinates the practical and emotional support within RCC’s church family. Her greatest joy is in seeing people walk in freedom and living their God-given potential. Nicky’s empathy and sensitivity is complemented by her friendly attitude and her down-to-earth approach to life. She is married to Carey, a social worker for Pathway Trust, and they have three daughters.
Jasmine Robb Worship Co-ordinator
Jasmine is passionate about people worshiping and encountering God through music. She manages the Sunday Services Worship team, youth bands - Illuminate and Ignite - as well as ‘Worship Nights’ throughout the year. Jasmine is married to Jairus, and she also freelances as a music and singing teacher. She is currently studying to gain her Graduate Diploma in Secondary Teaching at the University of Canterbury.
Nicki Aitken Outreach Co-ordinator
Nicki’s role focuses on helping people to share their faith in natural ways with the people in their lives. She is married to Alan and they have three grown up children who are all involved at church. Nicki leads the MyTime@10 Community Craft group and she is also involved in visiting local people and helping them to connect in to community activities and with each other. In her free time Nicky enjoys reading, puzzles and swimming.
Caleb Meyer Young Adults Life Group Co-ordinator
Caleb is motivated to see young adults know God and grow in their love and trust of Him. He works as a Structural Engineer and also oversees the RCC Young Adult’s Life Groups, focusing on supporting and empowering the leaders to live out their faith. He is married to Sophie and they are expecting their first child. In his spare time, Caleb enjoys sports, board games, DIY projects around the house and overseas cuisines.
The Elders/Trustees are responsible for the governance and leadership of the church and act as the Trustees of our church trust. They are a dedicated group with a diverse range of backgrounds, skills and experience. The current Elders and Trustees are Alan Aitken, Bevan Burgess, Sonya Nuku, James Sheat, Phil Stedman and Geoff Wallis.
