Sunday Service 8 August
Join us this week at our 9am or 11am service. We're looking forward to spending time worshipping God together in both services and celebrating with Anjani and Katelyn as they take their next step in their faith journey and are baptised in the 9am service.
Murray Robertson, long time friend of RCC, is continuing with our Gospel of Mark teaching series and is sharing from Mark 4:1-34. We value the opportunity to delve deep into God's Word and to dwell in this book of the Bible. Come along and join with us at 9am or 11am.
We'll be thrilled to welcome you!

Marriage Course Starts Mon 9 Aug
Regular check-ups help a car run smoothly and reduce the risk of breakdown. The best sports professionals spend hours being coached and perfecting their technique. And the greatest achievements in life take practice, training and dedication.
It's the same with marriage. A strong, loving, lifelong relationship doesn't happen by chance. It takes effort and dedication to keep the fun and romance alive. We can learn how to make even the happiest marriage better.
Nicky and Carey are running the marriage course starting on Mon 9 Aug 7:30-9:30pm in the auditorium and for 7 weeks. The cost is $70 per couple to cover materials and dessert (subsidy is available). For more info or to register your place contact Nicky.

CAP Money Course Tues 10 Aug
Do you want to do more with your money? CAP Money is a free, fun, interactive course that helps you take control of your finances, so that they don't control you.
The 3-session course helps you identify how you spend your money and prioritize the things that are important to you. You'll learn to live well within your means, manage or prevent debt, and save for your future, all by using a simple cash-based system that really works.
Sessions are Tuesday 10 August, 17 August and 24 August 7:00-8:30pm in the church foyer. Contact Mark or Yvonne to book a place or for more info.

Seed Sunday 15 August
Te Whare Awhero (Hope House) is proud to partner with RCC for Seed Sunday which will be held on Sunday 15 August. We are asking you to donate sealed packets of store-bought vegetable seeds to go towards the community vege garden in the Christchurch Men's Prison.
Your gift of seeds will help prisoners give back to the local community, with the produce from the garden to be distributed to people in need across Canterbury by City Harvest.
Bring packets of seeds to church on Sunday 15 Aug and Carey Ewing, Te Whare Awhero Director & part of our RCC whanau, will be on hand to collect them. Or you can drop packets of seeds into our RCC office before 15 August.

Worship Night Sun 22 August
Our next Worship Night is coming up on 22 August at 7pm. We love to join together as our RCC whanau and lift our voices to worship God together. It can be a time of refreshing and encouragement for us, and our worship can change the spiritual atmosphere over our city.
