Sunday Services 3 July
Join with us on Sunday at our 9am or 11am service. We're looking forward to spending time worshipping God and opening the Bible together. Being together with our church whānau can help us to be encouraged and stand firm in our faith.

This week we continue our teaching series on the Book of Revelation and Dave is sharing from Revelation chapter 10-11:14

We'll be thrilled to welcome you!

Our 11am service will be livestreamed on the links below:

Pray for Alpha
Thank you for your prayers for Alpha. We are inviting all the Alpha participants to come to church together on Sunday and join the newcomers' lunch after the service.
Please pray:
- For wisdom for leaders and courage for seekers to find the right next step in their faith journey and get connected into a church community
Thank you again for your prayers.

Baby Dedication
Children are a gift from the Lord. At RCC we love to celebrate the gift of new life, and one way we do this is enabling parents to dedicate the son or daughter to God in a special baby dedication service. If this is something you'd like to do our next baby dedication service is 21 August. Have a chat with Dave or Kath if you'd like to dedicate your baby in this service, or in another service.

Street Party - Save the Date
Street Party is happening this year on Sunday 6 November. So mark this date in your calendar.
Our annual street party is well known and much anticipated in Riccarton. For over 12 years now, we have closed off the street outside the church building for the first Sunday in November to host a party for our community. With candy floss, bouncy castles, face painting, and a sausage sizzle all free, plus treats to buy, it’s one of the ways we share love and joy with our neighbourhood.

Pastoral Care Coordinator
Over the past 7 years, Nicky Ewing has headed up pastoral care at RCC, and we have really appreciated all that she has done to build teams, encourage and equip us all for welcoming and caring for people, as well as providing care for people herself. She is now stepping down from her role as Pastoral Care Coordinator to pursue what God might have for her next and so we are looking to fill the role.

Pastoral care at RCC includes a whole range of activities and relationships that seek to enable people to flourish through all seasons of life. The Pastoral Care Coordinator leads our Care Team, and works with others across the church to provide care, encouragement, and practical help when required. The role includes some personal engagement in one-on-one pastoral care, and growing your skills in team management and recruiting volunteers. The role is part-time – 12-14 hours a week approximately and has flexibility around days and times. Have a chat with Phil or Mark if you are interested in finding out more. Applications close 8 July.
