Sunday Services 25 Feb

Join us at our 9am or 11am service as we spend time worshipping God with singing, open the bible together, and share a time of connection with others in our RCC whānau.

This week Steve Graham will be sharing with us about God's presence and connection with the Holy Spirit - these tie in with our theme for the year - Seek His Presence. Steve is long term friend of RCC and is principal of Equippers Bible College. We're looking forward to hearing what he's prepared to share with us.

We'll be thrilled to welcome you!

Our 11am service will be livestreamed on:

Counselling Intern Update

We previously let you know that we are expecting to partner with Mind Health to have a counselling intern available to provide counselling for our RCC whānau from mid-February. Unexpectedly the intern we had secured withdrew from her course so that has delayed us a little bit. Mind Health has proposed another good potential intern candidate to RCC. Phil Stedman and Andrew Button will be meeting with her late this week, and we will let the church know more by the end of February.

Vision Impact Giving

Vision Impact Giving (VIG) is our ‘over and above’ regular giving for special projects. Each year we prayerfully select two to three projects that make a difference in people’s lives and contribute to our church vision moving forward. Over the years many exciting and life changing projects have been supported both in New Zealand and throughout the world. Over the last 16 years more than $1.4 million has been raised through VIG.

This year our projects are:

Empower El Salvador - providing life changing alternatives to joining violent gangs.

Wharenui School Cycle Track - contributing to improved wellbeing for local kids and community.

Tamariki Tipu - Growing Children - partnering with 24/7 Youthwork to establish framework for children's workers in primary schools throughout the nation.

We welcome any contribution. Deposit into our bank account RCC Bank Account: 010819–0036589–00 Reference: Your Name VIG

We are excited about each of these projects and the opportunity for many people's lives to be impacted by Christ's transforming hope.
