Mission Impossible?
One of the key affects of the Covid travel restrictions has been the universal inability to visit and encourage Missions partners! How has this affected the outreach in Thailand and beyond? Lorraine Dierck addresses this in both services as she speaks on Mission Possible 2020!   She is speaking in both the 9 and 11am services.

The 11am service will be livestreamed on the Riccarton Community Church Facebook page

40 Elizabeth Street
It was exciting to be able to announce at church this last Sunday that we have a signed Sale and Purchase for 40 Elizabeth Street.  This property is in a hugely strategic location for RCC and will enable many property options into the future.    In accordance with the RCC Trust Deed we require a vote by RCC members prior to purchasing property. Please vote using this Consultation link to indicate whether you agree or disagree that the RCC Trust should purchase this property. We need your input by Monday 30th November!  Contact the office if you would like more information.

If you would like to make a pledge towards the purchase of 40 Elizabeth Street please contact Phil Stedman ps@rcc.co.nz or any of the Elders directly.  Pledged funds will be needed by the 25th January 2021.

Establishing an East side presence by employing Dave Bosma as an Associate Pastor

The RCC Trustees/Elders are proposing to employ Dave Bosma as an Associate Pastor for around 30 hrs per week.  Approximately half his time he will be released to explore opportunities to reach the East side of Christchurch and then with the remaining time he will be fulfilling a variety of roles at RCC which will add considerable value to the team based in Riccarton.

We feel Dave is very well qualified and experienced for both the East side and RCC based roles we are proposing.  We would love to get your feedback by either contacting the Trustees/Elders on tov@rcc.co.nz; or Phil Stedman on ps@rcc.co.nz or phone the office on 348 5507.

Christmas Connections
The Christmas fun commences! Next Sunday 6th December we will laugh, (and maybe cry) as our wonderful RCC Kids perform a Christmas play, at both the 9 and the 11am service. Al Aitken is speaking, his talk will be visitor friendly, so invite your friends and family, this is the time for those Christmas Connections!
