BHW partners with local people in some of the world’s poorest communities, who already work with and have a vision for transforming their communities. This partnership helps them to develop and grow their work over time through microloans, community and agricultural development, humanitarian support and more.  RCC supports a number of BHW projects through mission giving.

The Community Development Network Trust (CDN) is a Christian based youth agency based from Riccarton Community Church. CDN works with young people throughout the Christchurch community, but primarily in the Riccarton and Hornby areas.  RCC particularly supports the five day camps for intermediate students that are run in each school holidays and a 24-7 Youth Worker partnership at Kirkwood Intermediate School.

Affordable fruit and vegetables is an initiative aimed at supplying fresh produce at affordable prices.  Produce is available on Wednesday morning from 7:30-10:30am in the RCC auditorium, and it is also a great opportunity to grab a coffee and catch up with people from the Riccarton area.

Pathway provides employment, accommodation and prison reintegration support to those seeking to make a fresh start.  Pathway was founded out of RCC and supports the work done locally to make a difference to those on the margins of our community.

Peverel Flats provide accommodation and a supportive community for young Christians leaving home to study in Christchurch. Pastoral care and administration is provided by a team from RCC.

MindHealth is a counselling and training organisation, counselling and coaching people to thrive in work, life and relationships. MindHealth has a strong connection to RCC and is housed in our facilities.
